Most of the Constitution in force within the Palestinian territories is taken from the Jordanian Constitution of 1960 and earlier. Palestinian citizens wonder when new laws will be updated and enacted in Palestine in the absence of a Legislative Council for more than 15 years and the system of laws will be modernized, with the development and emergence of many modern crimes such as cybercrime.
