Iman Al-Masri, a mother of three children, faced displacement from her home in Beit Hanoun due to bombings while she was six months pregnant. Seeking safety, she evacuated to Deir al-Balah, where she and her family slept on the ground in a schoolyard. Amidst these challenging circumstances, she unexpectedly had to undergo a cesarean birth without proper preparation. After giving birth, she returned to stay in a classroom lacking essential supplies like sanitary pads for herself and her children. This highlights the harsh realities faced by displaced mothers in conflict zones, struggling to ensure their own and their children’s well-being amidst adversity.
