The association focuses on enhancing opportunities for hydroponic farming on the rooftops of homes within the camp. Additionally, they have rented a piece of land to cultivate, supporting a group of women within the camp.

Abu Mahdi, a popular sweets vendor, took on the task of reviving the ancient amber sweets, gaining fame in the southern West Bank under the current challenging circumstances. With businesses halted and job opportunities reduced among Palestinians, Abu Mahdi managed to find a source of income. Additionally, Abu Mahdi utilizes social media, including TikTok, to promote his sweets. He gathers donations and profits from social media and uses them to manufacture the sweets, distributing them to children’s institutions. We will film Abu Mahdi as he makes the sweets at home and then capture him distributing them to merchants. Additionally, we will record him distributing the sweets to children in the camps.
