Ghalia is an ISIS survivor and a student in the Mass Communication Department at the University of Mosul. She is 21 years old. She was kidnapped by the ISIS terrorist organization in 2014 when she was 11 years old. She was liberated from them in 2018. She was able to overcome the psychological impact of her kidnapping. She entered the Faculty of Mass Communication to be a journalist to convey the suffering of the people of the Yazidi religion.
